On the Prowl for an H-series 220 or 200

I'm doing it right this time and I'm taking my mulligan. The KDX is sold and my troubles have ended, but there's an empty space in the barn that lacks atomic green.
So, this time I want to find one that works correctly. I'm in Maine, but will travel to Mass or NH for the right bike. If anyone here has a nice 220 or 200 for sale, please let me know.
Also, what is more preferable? 200 or 200?

I cant believe you are having such a hard time selling those. If i lived near you I would have bought one of at least no question asked

$1500 for my 95 as well! I have it on Craigslist in Springfield MO, that's a loooong way from you! I have had two calls in two weeks. One guy wanted to trade a 97 Kawasaki 750 street bike, the other thought it was in another state (city of the same name).
I really thought it would have been gone by now, 2 weeks on CL. It looks and runs great. Oh well, I'm not in a big hurry to sell it.

A guy near me has an 03 for $900 cash. Runs fine. I'm in eastern Kentucky.

That's a great price! I'm kicking myself because I missed out on a beautiful '05 220 in Northern Mass on eBay for 1700--he was even willing to take it off eBay and meet me halfway. Someone bid on it in the last half hour and the next day I sold my bike. Haven't found anything comparable around here since.

They say the 220 has more torque and the 200 revs a little quicker, I like to torque my way to the top rather then spin;)

I rode my friend's 220 today and I think that's the ticket! Man, it's so nice to ride a KDX with an engine that's dialed in...

A 220 with the RB carb mod. [emoji106][emoji12] Torque and a good over rev when needed.

I have both and they are both 2003's. I live next door in NH and for the riding we do in this area, it's a 220 for me all of the way. The way that we have to pick our way up granite strewn goat paths one minute and then the next dodging moose turds on a swampy trail, the 220 get's it done. Do a search on the NH Craigslist. There looks to be at least a couple of late model machines on there that look decent in the pics but who knows when you see them in person. Good luck!

Just out of curiosity, what about a KX250 with an oversized tank? Would it be comparable to the KDX in any way?
