Newbie... 1996 KDX200

I'm new to the site, and new to my bike. I hope I'm posting in the right place.
I used to ride a 1986-1988 KDX175 (air cooled) back in 1988 and loved it.
And seeing how my dual sport buddies have recently purchased two strokes to trail ride with and my XR650l is a handful compared to lighter trail bikes. I bought a 1996 KDX200.
I took it on a shake down ride last weekend and loved it. It is a project bike (lots of bent, neglected and missing parts).
It's had RB and Fredette work done to it in the past. I haven't even had the time to read all of the things that have been done, but it looks like head, carb and suspension work. All of this was done around 2010.
I also got an Oregon plate when I went to transfer the title. Yes I was surprised. We'll see if that lasts very long before it gets yanked!
I'm sure that I'll be bugging the heck out of all of you while I sort the bike out. I'm trying to negotiate my way around this site.
