hi guys I just bought a 2001 kdx200 and my mate got a 1993 kdx 200 both had piston knock got new piston ring in the 93 but theres a ticking at low rpm that disappears as the revs increase then the motor sounds great is what im hearing the kips set up are they just generally noisy

quickest way to test is pull the clutch lever while the bike is idling
if the sound changes pitch then it is almost certainly the kips rattle
