So is there a noticeable difference between the different types of Boyesen reeds? About to buy now but I see:
-Power Reeds (which I've gathered is what most here recommend)
-SuperStock

What exactly is the difference? And is "607" another name for the Power Reeds or are they a completely difference reed? So far it seems like Power Reeds are what is recommended for the KDX?
Thanks.

Super stock are their OEM replacement reeds, designed to be like the factory reed.
Power Reeds are a two- stage reed designed to produce a broader power peak.

Power Reeds (607):Boyesen Power Reeds use a patented dual-stage fiberglass design for more airflow, more air velocity and more overall power.
Pro Series Reeds (Pro-44):Boyesen Pro Series Reeds combine breakthrough carbon technology with all the advantages of Boyesen's dual-stage Power Reed.
Super Stock Fiber Reeds:The original performing replacement fiber reed that last longer and cost less than any aftermarket reed available.
Super Stock Carbon Reeds:The original performing replacement carbon reed that last longer and cost less than any aftermarket reed available.
The first two are dual stage reeds and will really change performance, carbon more so than the fiber.....
The 2nd two are stock style reeds, IMO they will last longer but only mildly change performance.

To throw fuel onto the fire, if you REALLY wanna go all out, grab some VForce 3's
