Pipe options for 1990 200?

Is the fmf fatty pipe the only option for a '90 kdx 200? What does the fatty provide in performance over stock? Other brands that mount with no issues? Silencer options?
In general, which direction do you go with jetting with pipe change? Thanks

Leaner on the jets. A performance pipe will get you the best gain in HP compared to any other mod, other than maybe head mods and porting.
I run 45 pilot and 155 main with my FMF gold pipe. Factory jets were 48/158, BUT after 1990 they dropped the main to 150. I feel much safer running slightly rich rather than be too lean...some go even leaner than that tho, like 42/148 but there are many combos...

pipes ur looking at fmf (I found the bike runs smoother and has slightly more torque and nice over rev compared to DG), DG (good mid range, mounts up very nicely), and if you're lucky pro circuit and/or dynoport. you're best off sticking to the stock silencer, but fmf, PC, DG, and answer are the only aftermarket ones I've come across. Our bikes run fat rich from the factory, so jetting is everything when adding a new pipe
