1000km over 4 days doable?

Once a year we have these long distance funduro. I mean 1000km done over 4 days.
Are these type of long distance enduros only for the bigger machines like 450s?
Or am I underestimating the KDX?

Are you underestimating the KDX?
Well no, but can you keep moving fast enough/long enough to cover that much ground each day? What speeds are required to keep up?
A well-prepared KDX will have no problem doing 250km per day, unless fuel range is insufficient....but that is a lot of K to cover. My personal longest off-road is/was 280km/day.....however that was on a plated DRZ

Properly set up the KDX will do it no problem. Sounds as if there is a lot of jeep trail perhaps to cover that much ground per day. Your biggest problem is going to be the 100km between fuel stops...you'll need to carry extra fuel to make that. I have gone just over 100 km before (actually about 70 miles), but it was gently rolling dirt roads not riding super hard...and I was on fumes.

**added to the bucket list**
I agree, if any bike is capable of doing a trip like that without killing the rider with fatigue it is a properly set up KDX
any chance you have a large capacity fuel tank on it ?
clark and IMS make a larger tank for the H series which should hold you over the 100 clicks
and for added piece of mind there are a few companies that make auxiliary tanks that mount on the handlebars
