Site speed has been crap lately, and I'm not sure why. Doing a little maintenance tonight about 10pm EST. Should take no more than about 5 minutes, but if you are on the site tonight at about that and it goes unavailable, I should have it back up very soon.

I thought the site seemed kinda slow. Maybe a cache build up of some sort?

Yeah, this was supposed to be a global announcement and not a regular post. Let's make it 10:15 and I'll change that now. Already dumped cache, btw. No help there....

Sorry for the interruption, especially since that didn't work. Doubled the ram, no change. Will post another announcement when I figure out what to try next....

seems pretty obvious to me Julien, the host engines KIPS valves are gummed up
im not sure who but one of us must have been running cheap Ethernet through it

So it would seem, lol. There's no explanation, seeing as how the server doesn't even seem to be breaking a sweat, yet there's a 6 second wait between page loads. I'll be poking around with PHP crap the next couple days until I get it figured out.
