Dg enduro pipe

Is the dg pipe worth the Change over a stock pipe. Was told I could hollow out the stock pipe .is it worth the effort.still using the stock silencer. Thanks don

Any change over the stock is an improvement, both in weight savings and performance. Changing pipes will require rejetting.

Gutting out the stock pipe on an 89-94 makes a big difference.

I've got a dg pipe and like it a lot, good boost in the mid-range

Yes, removing the inner wall of the stock pipe has been reported to give a big boost in performance on the E series. As has pretty much every aftermarket pipe (DG, FMF, Pro Circuit, etc)

I modded the stock pipe on my 89. It was a lot of work. Eventually I went to the DG pipe and have been very happy with it. I'd recommend just going that route straight off and skip the pain of modding the stock pipe.

Thanks for all the replies . I'm going to hollow out the oem and rejett unless I get really get upset trying to remove and clean inside pipe to tig weld
