How bad is this piston scuffing..??

On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is "no big deal" and 10 is "engine about to grenade".
The scuffing is only visible on the bottom part of the piston, below in intake port.

doesn't look that bad, id still run it. keep an eye on compression readings over time and make sure ur running quality premix

Thanks for your feedback. Bought some Amsoil Dominator, which I was planning on running at 40:1.
Looking to replace the piston at the end of the season in any case, for good measure.

I have seen a lot worse.....nearly all 2 stroke pistons will eventually have some type of scoring on the intake side, it just depends on the age of the piston & how clean & oiled you keep your air filter ( here`s the secret ! )
By the look of it you can see some of the coating has worn off the reed intake, this may indicate that dirt has at some point made its way in to the motor thus scoring the piston, you may also find some scoring on the exhaust side too.
