I'm jumping the double at a Virginia City GP with a 97 KDX220:
(Some guy on a KTM had his whole front end break off when he landed...snapped the steering stem right off!)
But the mighty KDX held together just fine...

Any Pros & cons comparing both machines???

Obviously the E is liquid cooled with upgraded suspension and brakes, but is the C lighter? How do the torque curves differ?

Lot's more bottom, just a stronger engine all around. Handling-wise...a little heavier and taller but didn't feel heavy - the rear disk was worth the bike... the c model's rear drum brake was a real problem for me, they'd overheat so much that the return springs would lose their temper and fail, not to mention the drums would wear quickly in wet conditions, then you'd have to replace the hub.

A friend who rides a crf250r 4 stroke was shocked how much power these bikes have when I let him have a go with my KDX around the track He did not expect so much power from a 200. Obviously 4 stroke has more consistent powerband without a powervalve system, but yeah he couldn't get over how peppy these things are especially in the high rpm range and for being a 20+ year old 2 smoker.
