Hello, my kick starter is very old (the pivot moves a lot) and the mechanism no longer clings ... can fit a kick starter and mechanism from another machine (H series, KX ...) on a E series ?

You can still buy a new one. I bought mine a couple of years ago. Check ebay for the best prices.

Thank you for this reply, but I really looking for an alternative solution at least for the kickstarter ... (and on ebay with the expedition in France he returned almost as expensive as new)
If anyone knows if a KX kicksatrter can be mounted, it really interrese me: in France it is full of cheap KX kicks and nothing for the KDX 200 E that was imported at only few units by years...

IIRC you can use the boss from a pre-2003 KX250 and the lever from a 125 to make a hybrid kickstarter that should work. Seems that i remember you had to use a washer behind the boss to get the right spacing.

I'm not sure that is true on the E series....

I have used C, E, and H series kick starters on my H models...so they will all interchange. My favorite is the C model. The only thing I can think of that could cause interference is the pipe shape. All use the same pedestal.

I used a 98 KX250 boss and kx125 lever on my 89. Not sure of the year on my lever.

It's a 15mm spline I'm 85% sure if you are looking into finding a universal kick start

I ran into a similar problem last summer when mine made an escape off my bike going down the road. I was lucky to find it, but it the process of looking for a new one i think I determined it was a 15mm spline on the shaft
