Last weekend after starting my bike I noticed that the glass on the side case was completely white. It was between 30 - 40 degrees out and the bike ran for about 10 minutes. The next day I drained it and there was no antifreeze in it just oil. Could this be just a condensation build up between the 2 viewing glasses ?

You could have some antifreeze leaking past the water seals...Especially when it gets cold and things have a tendency to shrink. When was the last time you replaced them?

Never did bought bike last March. It just seems weird that there was nothing in the oil when I drained it. Believe me I don"t want to replace the seals if I don't have to

Sounds like condensation. I would just keep a eye on it ,but it the oil was clean you should be fine.

My 95 200 does that. After riding a while and stopped, with the bike on the kick stand so the oil has drained away from the sight glass it looks foggy/milky. Then when I stand the bike up so the oil comes over the glass it is clean as it can be.

when i had an aircooled ducati, it would do the same thing, especially in the colder months. just firing it up and letting it idle for 10-15mins and shutting it off was not enough time to burn off the condensation. i would actually have to go ride and let the entire bike get good and hot to clear up the oil. first time i saw the milk in the sightglass, all sorts of things were running through my mind!!!!
