Is there anyplace that sells these with out waiting on a used one to come up for sale. Would like to do some Harescrambles on the old Kdx and have gotten acustomed to the auto clutch on other bike

I think the only place you can still get it new is from revloc.com.au.

Do you loose all of your clutch lever functionality with the Dyna ring? Can you still use it for when you start moving? Or when you want to feather the clutch for powering up something?

Yes, you keep your clutch override. It will be a lot stiffer than stock, and, depending on how you have it adjusted, it can totally disengage or only partially. I have mine setup as the latter and I'm very happy with it.
