I have an84 kdx200 project bike that I am working on. I am going to replace the bearings and seals in the bottom end. I have split the cases and I have the old bearing on the crank but not in the case. What is the best way to remove the bearing from the crank?

Apply some heat. Try to heat the inner bearing race but not the crank. It should slide off with some gentle persuasion.

I just had the same prob on my 83.i tried the heat method to no avail. I bought a 2 jaw cheep puller and ground the ears down so they fit behind the bearing. Popped right off. Good luck.
