Yep - But it will put the bars even further into your lap then they all ready are. You might consider swapping to a 95+ Top Triple clamp. They have rubber mounted bar mounts that are reversable. Turning them around gets you about 3/4" more room.

Would it be better to just get taller bars?? I have seen those and wondered about that.

I have mid bend pro taper 7/8 bars....too low for me.
my next bars will be a high bend.

I'm using TAG fatbars that are the only mini bend TAG sell. They are made for mini bikes. They are about 28" wide and TAAAAAALLLL. I'm 6"5' and barely have to bend to reach the bars. Before, HA ! I had to sit nearly all the time. If I stood on the pegs with standard bars I couldn't reach the bars. Have a look in my gallery for a pic. They are gold BTW.

I gave my brother my mini-hi bars... I think they were made for a ATV but work perfect on his 90 model....
