It never fails.....why is it a 5 minute job turns into a 2 hour fiasco? While trying to remove pilot jet I stripped the slots off its head. Any ideas on how to get this out?

Drill it and use an easyout. Very carefully! :?

Unfortunately, this is probably the only way. The good news is: Jets are soft and easy to drill. Take your time and stay relaxed...
Good luck!

Use drill press if you can get access to one. Their alot more stable than a hand drill. Have fun and BE CAREFUL!

Is this a place to say, 'lefty loosy, righty tighty' ?

I've seen a few sets of easy outs...don't know that I've ever seen one small enough to work on a drilled pilot.

Guess you folks have or you wouldn't bring it up.

Either tighten the next one less or (and?) use some never seize on it.

Any chance a different size of driver head would matter?
