hey guys
i can pick up a 86 CR/XR80 for cheap
the frame seems to be an 86 CR80 with a XR80 (year unknown) engine mounted in it
i know jack about these bikes but here are some observations

it has a front disc brake and conventional forks

actually, forget the description, heres a picture

Image

so, my questions are : what year is this ?
can i fit newer plastics on it ?
(there are quite a few complete bodies on ebay: tank, seat, fenders, shrouds, number plates for 98 and up, whould these fit)
is there anything i should look for ?

i dont plan to keep this bike for long, just buy it, clean her up a but and flip it

any thoughts ?

What is our cut of the sale price, before we spend our time to help you try to make a buck?

Bikes like that take a lot of time and effort to figure out.
