Will kx125 forks fix my kdx??

hi, I was wondering if a pair of 1999 kx125 forks will fit my kdx?? My bike is a 2001. WHat would i need to make them work on my bike. And are there any advantages of putting these forks on my bike?>?? Will my bike be tipped foward at all, Im just wondering cause im not sure if they are the same length. Also how many pounds are the stock springs set up to hold?? thanks for your time
