There's no good "carb rebuild kit" that I have ever seen. Only some collection of chinese parts that someone throws together and then sells as a rebuild kit. You can get the individual parts you need from jetsrus, pats small engine, or sudco. You'll have to elaborate on "mx style plastics". You're pretty well stuck with the side panels and shrouds. You can use any front fender you like, and the rear fender from a kx500 will just about bolt right on with minimal trimming, if any.

Alright well what's all the parts I would need to order for a rebuild kit? I'm kinda new to this. And sweet that's exactly what I'm looking for cuz I don't like the whole headlight/tail light thing.

What is the carburetor doing or not doing?

When I turn the petcock "on" it starts leaking gas from the overflow tube so my floats are prolly stuck, so I tapped the bottom of my carb to see if I can break em loose and still nothing, so my carb is prolly dirty in there and needs to be cleaned, and from my understanding I need the gaskets and O-rings to take it apart and clean it

sounds to me all you need is a can of carb cleaner and a screw driver
i would tear it apart and see what it looks like
clean it out and if the float bowl seal looks good reuse it

+1
Don't need to rebuild it just to open it up and check the floats/clean. Likely it doesn't need it anyways.

almost forgot...inspect the float for pinholes
if it slowly fills with fuel it will not work the way it should and act like a stuck float
(i've heard of people soldering up these pinholes to make it all work properly again)
also be sure to check that it is set to the proper level

Alright, well today I started it up and it started up just fine, not leaking any as, but it's idling really high and smoking a lot.?

every time my bike starts to idle very high i got about 3 second to change the fuel tap over the reserve or it will die

And it's weird cuz when it's idling really high, I turn the choke on and it starts to die

You think it would have something to do with my air screw? Or should I just clean out the carb and make sure my floats aren't sticking

1. Clean the carb.
2. Make sure you've removed all the jets and clean it again.
When you spary carb cleaner in a hole it should come out another hole somewhere, if it doesn't then you aren't finished cleaning.
It's going to smoke, that's how us 2T riders help keep the mosquito population down

So you think that will fix it? I'm new at this I don't wanna take my jets out and not put them back in the right way or something

picture your jets as tiny screws
2 tiny screw of different sized, actually
if you can manage to install them wrong in any way you are very talented
this is a pretty decent video
at 2.30 into it he shows you the float neelde, be sure to inspect that rubber tip
if that is damage or very dirty it could cause it to leak aswell
(not to sure about his float level checker doohicky device)

Lol alright thanks. nd it's not leaking gas anymore just idling real high

odd that it would plug a leak all on its own
could have been a stock float that just popped loose though
the high idle could just be a badly adjusted carb or a sign of a poorly jetted carb
iether way, cleaning it never hurts

Pick up some guitar strings to help the cleaning process. I found a 5 or 7 pack at Walmart in the instrument/toy section for a few bucks. The different sizes are helpful for the different size jets. I try to use the largest diameter possible so it "scrapes" the inside of the jets.
