the piece that the fuel line hooks to came out of the petcock today while riding
i was going to just buy a new one until i see they are $40 plus .....so thinking I may try some JB weld.
Any other petcocks work on KDX tanks? I have Yamaha Raptor petcocks on my oyther bikes with IMS tanks.

JB Weld will be a waste of time for something that isn't broke. That piece is just pressed in. Disassemble it and remove the lever, then put the fitting that fell out back in at the position you need it, and then squeeze the whole thing back together in a vise. If you don't have a vice then you can get away with using channel locks or a pair of vice-grips.

I actually have a ziptie around mine holding it in. Hasn't leaked in 2 years. The little elbow is worn out I guess, and won't press in.

Mine came out and I coated it lightly with jb weld before I pressed it back in. Works great.

Yep mine did that as well, I lined the little elbow connection with Teflon and used a zip tie so it's still able to rotate..
