Part number for part?

Hi Guys/gals! I was wondering if someone could help me identify the right part number for a part. Okay you no the front sprocket? Well if you take that off there’s like a bushing with just little bit of rubber on it. Mines worn were it spins through the sprocket seal.

C'mon I know someone knows what this is called and the part number?
I'll get a pic soon.

Are you talking about the "COLLAR" or the "SEAL-OIL,TB3040"?

Look on the "TRANSMISSION" portion of the buykawasaki diagram for the snap ring, sprocket, collar and two o-rings parts. Look on the "CRANKCASE" diagram for the "SEAL-OIL,TB3040" part. The part number for the seal is:

92050-033

I replaced my sprocket, snap ring, collar, tw o-rings and seal about two months ago on my 1994 KDX200, so ask away if that does not answer your question.

That's the collar. I'd suggest you replace all of it. You can use a hook/pick tool to get the two o-rings out. If you don't have a pick tool already, get a brass one if you can just for safety's sake. I used a brake spring puller tool from Harbor Freight to get the seal out. It worked like a charm!!!

EDIT: If your collar looks like that, I bet your o-rings and seal don't look so great either. If you get the seal, don't go past flush on the mounting.

When you get the collar off, note that it has a groove on the inside where the o-rings go. Make sure you put the new one on in the correct direction.

WHEW! What happened to the shift shaft?! You need to replace that seal while you are at it (if it is not already listed). It's cheap, and it is very easy to replace when you have the shift shaft out. It may be the 13225.5 you have listed?? Don't forget a right side engine cover gasket if you don't have it on the list.

Yep I got the new seals listed and the gasket is called GASKET,CLUTCH COVER for some reason. My shifter shaft is killed where the oil seal goes around you can fell a groove all the way around plus the teeth that the shift lever mount to are toasted I had my shift lever welded on for a while.





I think I might need to buy a manual to figure out how a couple rings go on my clutch everything else is simple.

Yeah, I think that is right. The clutch cover gasket is called release cover gasket or something like that.

Welded on? I think that is not how it is supposed to be.

No manual? Ack. Get a rope. I mean a manual.

i am pretty sure the moose seal kit does not include the water pump seal if its anything like my 97 i had to order that seal from kawasaki ,very tricky to install if it has the little plastic collar that holds in the spring,very easy to break i know i bought 2 of them and took the second one to the dealer to install since the water pump seal most definitely has to be pressed in no tapping on that seal without it breaking!!!
