Does anyone run a Wer steering damper on a 200h with stock triple clamps, and if so what front guard did you use?
There is no way the standard guard will fit as it raises up in front of the clamping section right where the damper fits.
ps; guard or mud guard (New Zealand and rest of civilised world) = fender(USA).
Thanks

Us uncivilized Mericans prolly wont be able to help you much, Sir.
If you look through the members bike profile section then you may be able to find a picture of a fender that is to your liking. A front FENDER is pretty much universal and can very easily be made to fit just about any triple clamps.

The damper kit works just fine with the stock front fender. They provide spacers to move the fender down slightly to provide the clearance for the flat bracket that supports the damper.

I would have to lower my guard 30mm (over an inch) to clear the damper. I am guessing my guard isn't stock then. It says UFO KX 03.

Something doesn't seem right.... I use UFO fenders & steering dampers with no problems. The plate that supports the damper bolts up flush to the bottom of the triples - the only thing that needs to be compensated for is the difference in height between the top edge of the fender (that rises forward and above the mount area) vs the fender mounting area itself - I have never seen a fender with over an inch between those two points. I'm using a fender mount steering damper and a UFO fender on one of my bikes, and the spacers I used are about 3/8 inch.

Are trying to mount the WER upside down? This is how it should be mounted...

No its mounted correctly but i now realize that my guard is not stock and there is no way it will work with the damper. I need to find a guard that suits i.e not a ufo kx125.
I just tried a ufo guard off a rm125 and it easily clears the damper, just need to re drill mounting holes .
Thanks.

On my stock fender, I had to put almost 3/4 inch of spacer. Combine that with the thickness of the damper itself, there is almost one inch of clearance lost. Not good if you already lowered the fork on the triple clamp. Tire might lock during full travel. So I'm currently running without a fender. But I haven't rode over any mud yet. I heard it will make you very dirty.
