The owner of a Kawasaki dealer told me to stop using Yamalube. Because he claims he has seen lots of
bikes come back with stuck KIPS because of Yamalube. Is this fact or fiction?

It's all I use in my kdx200 and kdx/kx hybrid. Up to 10-12 hrs per week per bike. No issues.
YMMV

Pure fiction. People say the same about using Maxima 927 but I have never had a problem with it.

Funny, i ran both yamalube and 927. Had lots of "buildup". ran hp2 honda, and amsoil interceptor at same mix ratio (40:1, clean air filter for all 4, same temp +/- 10
F deg) and after kips inspection, the latter two were much cleaner. 927 smells the best though:-)

Well, I just bought 3 gallons of Yamalube. I'm going to keep using it, whether or not it'll
gum up the valves.
