One of our own members, the machinist (Matt), was kind enough to send me a sample from the first production run of this new item produced by Quality Machine. You can view their website at www.qualitymachine-wa.com. I will update this post as soon as possible with better pictures and fitment on the bike. With permission from the manufacturer, I wanted to let you all know that this will be coming soon and provide some initial feedback. This piece is very nicely machined, and was even provided with nice stainless hardware for mounting. I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship. This piece is simply beautiful and will be right at home on your KDX! The cellphone picture I was able to get last night does not do it justice. The quality is remarkable, and I am more than excited to see a company producing some quality goodies for our beloved KDX. I will let Matt elaborate on pricing and availability, as well as any details in materials and machining process that he can share. I look forward to seeing more from Quality Machine, and thank you, Matt, for allowing me to see this product in advance!

Wow! Looks great!

Any advantages over stock other than increased durability?

It has "bling". It looks really cool. Not many blingy things made just for the KDX.

Thank you guys, you are the reason i work 7 days a week! This is a 100% upgrade on stock item, if you ride hard you will brake the plastic cover. I went. Thru 3. The bling of this item is just. Just as an aside, the website on the cover looks a little out of place. Maybe just have your logo and location on there?

I see there os no price on the web site. Could you give us a ball park on what they will be going for? Not looking to hold you to it, just something close.

The price is $145.00, these are hard coat black anodized and won"t dull. I'm having trouble with the website being that I'm releasing acouple of KDX items and trying to work out the buying and shipping. I will not be using Paypal being that they hate America! Look up their business policys.
