Fuse?

Why don't my KDX have a fuse? Just curious. If there's a
short in the wiring and there's no fuse, will the magneto
be damaged or something?
P.s. I like big fonts.

It didn't seem to be an issue over the 26 year run of the KDX.

it s an alternating current system, who cares which way the current goes?
