You could get one of those number plates of the older RM125/250 that had upper fork guards built in.

Like that. Of course, you sacrifice your headlight.

Improvise, adapt, and overcome!
Sorry, I don't know the website your looking for but you should be able to figure it out fairly easy.

Large zip ties or hose clamps.

Yea but that to me looks a tad bit ugly. Im trying to think of a clamp to make it look clean.

i think i found a way to do it. i was reading a thread last night about a guy who took pvc slit the back of it and snapped it on the fork tube. think im going to try it. need to measure the fork tube and get myself some pipe.

Lets think about this. PVC snapped over the fork tube... You looking to eliminate your suspension travel? I can't picture how that would work. It has to be secured to the lower fork or the triples, not on the inner fork tube.

i was assuming it was snapped onto the outer tube...i would hope no one making their own parts would think snapping onto the inner tube would work

Yea the outer fork tube. Putting it on the inner would be silly. It sounds like it will work in logic.

What would you secure it with? Epoxy or something? Might work. If you do it, take pics!

The PVC will end up being pretty short after you take out the compression distance. If you already have the stock boots off than go jump it or try some other way to FULLY compress the forks and see how much distance you have from the top of the lower tube to the triple clamp.
Have you considered seal savers?

If he uses a coping saw to contour the upper portion of the pvc pipe into a simple shield, but keep the bottom 2 inches pipe-shaped with a slit, then the bottom two inches would snap around the lower fork tube and the shield would be positioned in front of the upper tube. It still might want to bash into the side of the headlight, so some trial and error would be necessary to get the shield shape right.
