what year is this bike?

so i got this bike for free and was told it was an 89 but thats hard to believe from all the signs i been seeing.. the swing arm has diffferent decals on it and the plastics also have different decals of an 89.. all i have found on the signs is that it possibly can be a 92.. can anyone look at these pics and help me? i cant seem to find anything on the frame or bike as far as years go.. i tried punching in the vin and nothing comes up..

What's the VIN on the steering head? Did you look it up at kawasaki.com? Has to be 90 - 92. The decals do look 92ish, from what I can see. I think 90 and 91 still had the horizontal KDX on the shroud with KIPS underneath.

I found out its a 91. Good shape. Has excell wheels renthal bars and fmf pipe needs powervalve parts and top end
