Thanks, it is a SDG, got it from rocky mountain. Appears to be a well built seat, no problems with fit.

I found that at Maier Manufacturing, they are actually closing out a bunch of their dirt bike stuff and got it for cheap, been using maier products for years, always have had a great product, plus they are only about 3 miles from me so I can just drive over and pick up parts with no shipping charges.

Thanks, did you move far away from all the good local riding? KDX's seem to be built for this area. Just my luck it is finally deciding to become winter, snow is falling, at least I got a couple of rides in after the bike was complete.

I moved to the bay area, but still ride Foresthill & Georgetown all the time.

That is a Maier pipe Guard. There are several options out there for the KDX.

Super clean looking! I love mine as well. I used an 05 KX and an 02 220r. If it had an electric start I'd say it was the perfect bike for me.

Thanks for the complement, I don't know how much I would use an electric starter if I did have one on a small cc bike, kicks over so easy, not worth lugging around the exta weight.

E start on a two stroke is more hassle than its worth my friends that have them are always having to mess with them.

I know this is a new build, but IF you EVER sell this bike be sure I am the first to know...

I've had a few ktm woods bikes and every other bike under the sun. Today I stumbled across a clean, well setup KDX220 while searching craigslist and was intrigued. Started doing some research and ended up here. Seen this conversion and I want one. I'd take one of these over a late model ktm anyday.

Anyway...sweet build!!
