Anybody tried this headlight kit?
Looks almost identical to the KLX 450R setup.
Trying to figure out how to post the pictures rather than links. I've read it before, but can't find it with the search feature.

They are on ebay for around $40. Probably get what you pay for, but the KLX light kit in 2nd photo is the look I want.

Just found more information. It appears that these are the KLX assemblies, or they payed Mr. Kawi some $ to include the KLX in their photos (and use the emblem).
Have to wonder about the wiring though.

I'd be wondering the bulb socket style myself.
Wiring would be easy from that point (with exceptions).

Im gonna buy one of those off eBay and retrofit my H7 55W bulb into it. Should provide an excellent beam of light.

#2 Gives it that modern look of a Transformer or Bionicle kids toy.
I can,t stand this look in the new sport bikes either.
Personally I'm gonna look for an old Preston Petty unit.
To each their own.

Here is where I ordered mine. $34.32 US including shipping.

Sound a little too good to be true. The KLX 450R headlight assembly has to be purchased piece by piece and ends up in the $150.00 range. Worth a shot. I'll keep you posted.

Yeah, looked for a candle holder to mount up front. Just couldn't get the fitment right. Never solved the question of how to keep it from blowing out either. Joking.
Here is the image that sent me on this wild goose chase in the first place.
And yes that is a KDX 200 motor. If Kawi built this bike I would be in line the night before to buy it.

Info on that bike! Custom one off or Service Kawasaki?

Service Kawasaki. Google 2012 KDX200AF. And don't fall out of your seat when you see the price tag.

You could buy two kdx's and two kx250f's with that, and have enough for both conversions, and probably some left over..

If anybody is interested.....I did receive my $34.32 headlight assembly from China. It took 3 weeks, but finally got here. Took a little "modification" to get the wiring to work, but I am happy with it.
