spoke replacement (not necessarily kdx content here)

I had some spokes come loose on my yamaha rt 180. Is it common to find replacement spokes sold individually or only in complete sets? Do I need to look for spokes specific to the rt 180 or is it likely that other spokes are going to be the right size?

I have tightened all the spokes on the kdx since it gets ridden a bit harder than the rt 180. I've yet to have any spoke problems, but I don't think I've ever tightened the spokes on the rt 180 which i've had for about 10 years now. I'll have to make sure I keep them tight as I suppose that is what caused them to work loose.

I've bought spokes individually.
You do need to ask for spokes specifically for the rt 180, which will be the same spoke used on a bunch of different bikes, of course.
They do stretch over time. Getting big air on the RT will do that every time.

How you can buy spokes depends on the model. Usually it is by the set but some are only individual. The more common models have more options. Some bikes need more spoke attention than others, regardless of how they are ridden.
