anyone know where i can get an aftermarket stator for my 1985 kdx 200 id like to upgrade the light but there all 12 volt and my 85' only puts out 6

How so? That is a source coil, not a lighting coil.

For 1989 and newer KDX200/220's. If your talking about the screw up under the description, well, it is just a screw up! It has been that way for at least two years that I know of.

I'm not sure on your year of bike. Does your bike have a voltage regulator? If so, you would need to change it out for one of the universal 12v voltage regulators like I have linked below...

Could rewire your lighting coil, other than that I think you're screwed on finding anything for that bike due to its age.
