Stripped hex bolt

What do some of you folks use to ender the problem of removing a stripped hex bolt? In this case its the bolts used to affix the skid plate.

vice grips
dremel a slot in it
cut it off and remove it after the plate is off.

I think that's what i'd do.

I know some people are not comfortable using cheap Harbor Freight tools, but the store is close to my house, and I like the price. It did the trick.

be very careful with extractor, I broke the pin on my rear caliper and tried to use on of these. it was hard to drill straight to begin with since it's so small and when I tried to extract it, the bit snapped. I had to buy a new caliper cuz that extractor is made of hardened metal and is impossible to drill with regular hand tool...
