KDXRIDER.NET

I am looking at the kawa parts diagram site as well as Barnett's website and notice the frictions for 94 KDX250 are the same as 89-04 KX500. I notice that the steels are different, but...... the inner hubs and pressure plates are the same! So what could be the difference? minor thickness? material? Seems they should interchange. I can buy KX500 clutch kits for half the price of KDX250 kits. Can anyone confirm this?

If the inner hub and friction plates are the same, the steels SHOULD interchange. Might be thickness, material, or some other minor design change.
