The pipe should have some makers makers mark on it. Spooge is spooge. You can get the bike to run great and still have spooge. Like SS109 said it is probably a jetting issue if it is that bad.
As far as getting a new pipe, if yours is still there and not caved in then it should be good to go!
P.S. The pink tail is GREAT but any thing behind the silencer is pron to darkening.
If you are looking to clean the pipe out to start fresh then you need to pull it off and use a solvent to get the crap out. I clean it then burn it out myself.
A small dent after the first 8-10 inches is no big deal.
Burn it? Yes I clean it with parts cleaner solvent and dump it out but there is still a bit left in there. I spray some brake cleaner in there to help it light then touch it off with a propane torch a few times until it stops lighting. Seems to work well for me.
I repacked a silencer a few weeks ago... It was actually very simple.
Remove 3 bolts, slide off cover, remove packing, replace packing, slide cover back on, insert 3 bolts.
I think it'd take more time to try to burn out the carbon in the pipe! And more dangerous too! ;)
Seriously though, if you try repacking the silencer then I'd like to recommend staying away from the 2stroke "performance" packing (the pink stringy stuff) and get the sheet/roll style packing instead.
The repacking steps were easy, but getting as much of the pink stringy packing around the insert was semi time-consuming and frustrating.
It would have been a cake walk if I had the sheet/roll style material instead.

Might as well just put it back together then
Cleaning without a repack aint gonna do SQUAT!

Just take it apart and lay the parts out in the driveway
Get em red hot with my mapp gas torch and let em clean themselves
After I'm all done I spray the aluminum assembly with carb cleaer and wipe it down

Seriously?
Why is that?
I've been using Silent Sport (its not pink) for about 7 years. One bag will last at least 3 - 4 packings. It is super easy to use

Unfortunately the packing is all filled with spoo, and it'll keep coming out for ages...If you have the pipe off and all, might as well do it all. Does that thing still have the RADvalve reed cage on it?
