You have amazing places to ride... I get crappy soft beach sand for trails at Croom near Tampa FL. No elevation changes either so it gets dull pretty quick. It is about the only place I know of within an hour drive of my house for dirt bikes unless you are talking about mx tracks.

Your bike (motor) sounds tight, crisp, and clean! Nice!

I ride safe

I know what a PITA is is to get a bike back up on the trail

When Jerry went over the edge and did cartwheels for 50' down the bank, he and I had to flip the whole bike over like a domino, a couple times, to get it back up to the trail

Mr Wibbens, earlier you had told me that you are running a 142 main jet, and a 38 pilot jet, which sounded leaner than most other recommendations I have come across. Can you tell me approximately what elevation you are at?
Your bike just sounds so nice and clean running compared to mine...
I am at around 600-700 feet above sea level, and I was wondering if your altitude warranted your leaner settings.

we ride anywhere from 900 - 5,500'

I'm going to try a 35 pilot, my bike starts 1st kick when it's cold and 3 - 4 kicks when it's hot

It sure don't sound like any other 2 stroke

Seems like it'd been a good motor for a trials bike

Thanks for the video Mr. Wibbens.

That type of full bench cut trail takes a ton of work. Hats off to the folks who build and maintain that wonderful trail.

Mostly the guys I ride with maintain the trails up there, USFS claims to not have the funds

These guys have been going up there carrying chain saws on their bikes for weeks, getting these trails open

Check out the old KDX
