woods or knarly or torque: more bottom end
desert or rev: more top end
Fatty: in between
that's the way I understand it anyway.

Gnarly is also constructed with a heavier gauge (18ga.) metal than the Fatty.
Fatty is designed as a motocross pipe, and will dent pretty easily. Gnarly is made for the beating and banging of the rocks, roots, and woods. Will still dent, but a little harder to do.
