I recently recieved a cylinder from us chrome. I used them since they had a cylinder ready to go (so I thought). I must say the plating was nice. No issues around the ports. I am highly dissapointed with the fact that they bead blast the cylinder for cleaning. No big deal right? There were old gaskets still in there. the exhaust gasket was still in there even though they did clean the exhaust port with a tool !!! there was also a powervalve seal still in there. Wait it gets better! I had to re tap every hole to remove the glass beads from EVERY HOLE. Wth? Seems that when you are sold a cylinder"ready to go" they would at least remove the old gaskets and blow the beads out of the threads.
The cylinder is almost perfect in specs and the plating is A+, but come on, how about a little detail?

you should have done a search here about us chrome...lots of horro story about them.

yeah, if you got it back with good plating and port chamfer, you should count yourself lucky.
