I picked up a 1993 kdx200 for a wife/buddy bike. I normally ride an '06 wr450. The odo reads 3125.

I have begun to disassemble the bike for its duly needed maintenance. here are some pics of it's pick up condition.

I don't think I've ever seen a skid plate/pipe guard like that.

I'll take a guess - $375

I was going to guess $400.
It looks pretty clean for the year it is.

$575

I wouldn't sell my E bike for less than 1k, fwiw.

Saw this over on TT, welcome to KDXRider Charles!! Good to have ya. Bike looks really clean, and I really really like that bash plate!

looks really clean for its age, I got my '89 for $800 and it wasn't as nice as this

I think I gave $475 for my 89. It was not running, but supposedly ready to run. This was of course not the case. She runs real good now though :)

Nice. Setup the susp, and you may never ride the 450 again

$575 to the TT cheater  I really like my 450 it can help when you get up in elevation. I got the bike torn apart some to see the hidden problems. Some parts are on order. This bike has sat for two years and the last OHV registration sticker is from '02

Making a little headway. New bars and I cleaned the mess of a silencer. I have a box of parts waiting to be picked up from my mechanic friend. The suspension is next. Hopefully I can get into his shop Friday and use some tools. Depends on his schedule.

Here's a turd question ...

Is it just me seeing things, or is it standard for that year to have the inverted forks?

It is indeed. Standard for 93/94. Nothing special though, they are pretty much the 95+ forks flipped upside down. I have a set of them out in the shed....

you do have compression and rebound on these forks.
