What Tyres?

I'm trying to find some road orientated tyres for my KDX slightly knobbly for the weekend.
Front: 80/100-21
Rear: 100/100-18
I'm thinking something similar to the Metzeler Enduro 3's.
Anybody got any sugestions?

I am running Kenda K-761's on my DR650 and they are really nice, and inexpensive. If I were putting street oriented tires on my KDX, I would run Kenda K-270's. They work great on the road, and are sufficient in the dirt. they are inexpensive as well.
Shinko (Yokohama) also has some nice 90/10 tires.

This is gonna sound funny, but the MT43 trials tire actually does really really well on road at about 13-14 psi. Dropped down to 4 - 6lbs it's insane off-road. DOT rated tire too. For the front I'm clueless.

trials tires - Just watch those corners when it's wet out
I'd rather just run a true knobby on the street
Scorpion Pro on the front and maybe a Trackmaster on the rear

Wibbs, the MT43 is a bit different than your run of the mill trials tire. It's bias ply, and DOT rated. I've ridden on this thing in every condition you can imagine, including wet pavement. Works great :). It doesn't get quite the grip that a true trials tire does off road, but is much better as an "all around" tire.

I used to run dot trials tires on this bike
it was scary in wet corners, glad I wore gear back then

lol. Nice!
Whole different ballgame these days though, no?
I'm working on my 73 kawi F11 right now. Trying to get it back on the road. Full engine rebuild, and some new (old) goodies from ebay. Seriously fun bike.

It will never work, the problem is you are using Tyres...you need to use tires they work better.

I use an MT43 trials tire in the rear and a Pirelli Scorpion Pro in the front on my CRF230F D/S. Both are DOT legal tires.

I like the look of those MT43's.
4.00-18 on the rear fine.
Will the 2.75-21 fit ok on a 80-21 front rim?
My local shop tried selling me the MT90's, what are they like?
Also what about the MT21's?

MT21's are ok on street, ok on hard pack, crap in mud
