Looking at RMATV.com and motosport.com I cannot find an 18" rim for a 2002 kdx200. Can anyone here who has laced a new rim to their KDX hub shed any light on what/where to buy?

Make sure you get black. Black rims are stronger.

RMATV? pretty sure that's where I got mine. Have you looked under KX?

You can get one for any year KLX300 or KDX220 as they share the same hub per the fiche at Ron Ayers.
Anyways, Motorcycle Superstore lists both Warp 9 and Excel rims.

I did find 18" rim but I was not sure it was the same. I do still have the kx wheel too. I may just run a 19" rim for a while.

I have pounded out many dents. I use a big hammer, and some blocks of wood. KDX rims are fairly soft, so they come out pretty easily.

don't know if the hubs for the KX and KDX have the same spokes length (will check tonight) but this is what I used for my hybrid:

The wheel from the KDX fits in the KX (and vice versa).
Hope this helps

I have purchased a few wheels off ebay. You might want to check that out as well.
