I found them to be pretty close to matching the equivalent shoe size - meaning I wear a size 10 and I recall buying a 10 and it worked fine. If anything, you can go a bit larger as you can always wear a bit thicker sock. If you have a cycle gear nearby hey usually have a good selection to try on. My brother has used Tech 7 with much success as well.
