For what it's worth, this is a small issue you are having. It is quite simple really. SOMETHING in your carb or throttle cable is not allowing the slide to close as it should. Have you gone as far as pulling the carb from the bike, attaching the throttle cable, and twisting the throttle while you can observe the movement of the slide?

If we'd known from the start that you had taken the carb apart when installing the FWW, we would not have wasted two pages of this thread diagnosing a problem that does not exist.

Maybe you're right. Perhaps you should make REALLY good friends with the guy at your local shop and sell off or donate any wrenches or screwdrivers you may own.

lol. Yeah that was a bit harsh. Sorry. Really what I'm saying though is that I'm confident that you can do it! Just go over and over the carb install. There is something simple that you have overlooked, I'm just not sure what it is.
