Does the stock silencer have fiberglass packing? Can't tell from the diagram.

Yes 92 stock silencer.
there's really a lot of goo coming out the pipe.

OK, what's the trick to disassembling the stock silencer?
I removed all the bolts, the end cap won't come out.
Any suggestions?

the trick is to gently tap on the exhaust tip pushing it into the body so that you can pry the end cap out.
any suggestions for replacing the the fiberglass donut? will reg fiberglass muffler packing work?

There seems to be some sort of glue or caulking around the edge on the end caps of the silencer. Any suggestion on what to use to replace them / if nec.

Finally, got the silence cleaned up and reinstalled, raised the needle (1173) to the 4 clip (it was bogging) and it seems to run much better! Thanks all.
