Kind of apples to oranges, but still interesting:
about 10 years ago we raced a 98 YZ 400, a 94 YZ 250 (2 stroke for all you youngin's. That was supposed to be the fast one), and a WR 200
It was a very close race! The WR would just start to fall off pace until the other two ran out of gear and then fly past us. The other two bikes were really close.
If the guy who rode the WR rode one of the other bikes it would win every time. Neither of us could hang as well on the WR either. I guess the rider is the biggest difference. He is an amazing rider...
