AzKdx,
You shared above, "I feel like every seal and bushing needs replaced after going on 21 years in the desert and mostly sitting in a garage for 6 years."

This was absolutely essential with the used 1988 BMW K75S restored by me about 2 years ago. Every seal was bad: crankcase, fuel injection, transmission, final drive, water pump, oil pump, Hall ignition cover seal, crank & head cover, rear brake reservoir & master cylinder, forks, etc. I probably spent close to $1K for German made seals. I also bought some US made seals. A few worked, most didn't. Seems like Big 4 Japan and Germany Quality Control (QC) is superior.

That's VERY likely that the right crank seal is leaking, but I should also point out that going from an already rich factory jetting & mix ratio of 32:1 up to an even more rich fuel to oil ratio of 40: 1 is always going to yield more poor running conditions unless you have substantial modifications such as aftermarket reed cage, cylinder porting cleanup, shaved head, and aftermarket pipe.
