That way if this experiment of switching to a different carb doesn’t work out you can switch back to the carb that seems to work perfectly.
Thanks for the reply! I believe the SR is the G model of the US in the ‘89-‘94 era, which is a sub model of the main E model. The intake boot is having the oil pipe wrapped up and not connected anywhere, I’m running premix. For the moment I have some carb adapters built that connect to both intake and air boots, my only problem is the lack of space, I reckon even if I was using E model boots still the space would be limited.hi-def wrote: 04:46 am Apr 12 2021 I assume you have an SR model going by the PE carb and the oil pump showing in one of your pics.
Are you running premix? If so, the afforementioned "E" model intake and airbox boots might work. If you aren't premixing then you will need to make sure you don't lose the oil feed that is in the intake boot.
Are you referring to the ‘Made in JapanKHI’ sign KDXGARAGE? I believe only the European ‘G’ models have it.
