I have used it to repair many plastic parts and it works great.

That looks like Q-Bond, which I think is sodium carbonate or sodium bi-carbonate and super glue. Works great.
Watched there video, looks like good stuff.

The 220 is done, runs good other than about 1/4 throttle,
Idles fine and just off idle. 4 strokes at about 1/4, 1/3 throttle on runs great.
Only mods are Boyesen reeds, FMF desert pipe and snorkel removes.
Stock jetting,
Main-145
Pilot-42
Needle- R1173l
Air screw- 1.5 out

Any suggestions

I tried raising and lowering the needle 1-up and 1-down no difference

I do have a 35mm from a 200 to try.

Plug looking rich you might try one smaller pilot jet. Especially if your needle clip is in the upper 2 clip settings. You didn’t say where the clip is currently, not sure what four stroking is. I’ve found blubbery sluggish is rich, to lean it runs too good zingy quick revving puts a hole in the top of the piston.
Nice kdx holy moly!

The was in the middle position, I raised and lowered it one clip, didn’t seem to make a difference. 4-stroking, running rich. I’ll try smaller pilot jet.

Keep a thicker needle in mind.

It looks great!

Thanks, I tried a 1174 needle, and didn't seem to make a difference either.
My jetting will be put on the back burner, my March trip was canceled.
In lieu of what I have been reading about cracks in pistons. I'm taking the cylinder off and replacing the piston.

Before you start changing jets, make sure the air screw is set correctly for what you have. Just a suggestion.

Well I removed the cylinder, and found the plating is coming off between the exhaust port and the top of the cylinder. So I guess sending it to be re-plated is the answer. Where is a good place for re=plating.

Thanks, I actually bought a Wiseco, I sent it off to Millennium with the cylinder.
I didn’t see a PM link on you profile.

Thanks anyway.

Beautiful bike and outstanding find! I am out in Napa if you ever want to ride. I ride Foresthill mostly but I am open to wherever. Take care.
