Yes, the threaded collars are on the body of the shock. The later KDX's look different with the body on top.

Got the flywheel off with your recommendations for hardware, and a harmonic balancer puller from autozone. 20 dollars rented. If I had the ability to upload pics I would but the care you take in securing your flywheel magnets tells me you have seen one of these with the magnets exploded. Eeek. I'll be testing the stator, other than magnet dust covering it, it doesn't seem to be in that bad of condition.

hey guys i got a kdx 200 1986 and i need an air box got any recommendations on a website to go on to order it ebay and craigslist was a fail!
