On the flip side, you will instantly get used to having more protection and not getting as beat up.

Put the shifter back to where it was. The bike is designed, built and sold to be used with boots. "Normal" angle is not for flip-flops, house shoes, tennis shoes or work / hiking boots. :mrgreen:

Anybody ever use a heel & toe shift lever?

Back in the day I used to use one. Rather than lifting your whole leg to upshift, just mash down on the heel pad. I'm thinking about welding a heel pad onto my steel shift lever.

the way mine sits i can just barely get the bottom bolt of the case saver out but i have to put the socket on there under an angle

Ya my bolt is on a angle too .....has anyone tried inverted pegs buddy of mine had them on his cr250 and said its makes a world of difference ....I think I'm gonna drop it a spline
