I agree. If the KIPS are still there, that is. The difference between a KDX engine with and without functioning kips is like night and day.
Not much...just about the cost of a new clutch basket and new kick starter gear, new gasket, the time you spend taking all of that apart AGAIN nad I'm not counting the time I COULDN'T RIDE ... that's really not that expensive is it?Whats the worst that could happen?
In other words, I strongly recommend inspecting all the parts and try to fish EVERYTHING OUT, but that's just me, I don't like to spend money on unnecessary costly rebuild
